According to Turkish news website Haberler, 304 smuggled mobile phones and 34 e-cigarettes were seized in Van province, while two suspects were also detained.
Provincial security authorities said they have been conducting ongoing anti-smuggling operations. During this operation, the anti-smuggling and anti-gang organization departments searched a vehicle for smuggling mobile phones and e-cigarettes and confirmed that they were indeed smuggled items.
A judicial investigation has been launched against two detained suspects.
